We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to work at a manufacturing facility that is committed to success, located in Goodyear, Arizona. Come be a part of a team that’s changing the game.

Location: Goodyear, Arizona (On-site)

What will I be doing?

Conducting Machine Set-up
Troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance service
Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
Performing scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service

What qualifications do I need for this great opportunity?

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education: Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. (Equivalent Experience considered)
Minimum Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Plastic Injection Molding in a manufacturing environment. Experience with large precision molds and large tonnage machines.

What are your primary duties to be successful in this role?

Below are the essential job tasks or primary responsibilities that the individual who holds the position must be able to perform unaided or with the assistance of an accommodation.

1. Provide technical interface to Product Development for smooth, efficient transfer of products and processes.

2. Machine repair to including electrical repair, trouble shooting, circuit boards, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, Material delivery system, compressors, and chillers, as well as work on silos 50 plus feet high.

3. Record operational data such as pressure readings, length of stroke, feeds, and speeds for use in set-up and preventative maintenance records.

4. Comply with all pertinent OSHA standards.

5. Follow and understand acceptable quality control systems associated with parts and tooling.

6. Establish and maintain preventive maintenance procedures and records for all manufacturing equipment.

7. Provide technical support to manufacturing team for all manufacturing processes, as well as all facility support.

8. Ability to read parts breakdown and machine electrical and hydraulic schematics.

9. Participate in production system and quality system efficiency workshops to support continuous improvement.

10. Give advice on technical specifications of new equipment as well as alterations on existing equipment and facilities -- making sure that manufacturing, maintainability, Health, Safety & Environmental requirements are being met.

11. Participate in the management of the inventory of spare parts and consumables to eliminate downtime of machines.

12. Keep up-to-date documentation related to maintenance.

13. Flexibility to support 24 hours/7 days schedule.

14. Keep own and adjacent work area clean.

15. Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements
This position requires to be able to access equipment to troubleshoot problems; requires continuous standing, climbing, and bending, kneeling, stooping, and crawling; lifting to 50lbs; Ability to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or components.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to work in seasonal temperatures near moving mechanical parts and work in high, precarious places and where the sound and noise levels are loud and distracting. Employees are required to wear protective items such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
