We are seeking an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to work in the accounting and finance department at a manufacturing facility that is committed to success located in Goodyear, Arizona. Come be a part of a team that’s changing the game.

What will I be doing?
- Prepares forward looking financial statements – P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, based on a combination of historic trends, accounting input, and future forecasted actions from all departments. Will produce reports and analysis to inform the senior staff members and corporate how the business is tracking compared to plan.
- Collect and analyze raw data, and then assist the senior staff to tell the story of the business results.
- Gather input for annual formal plans, quarterly forecasts, and monthly projections.
- Work closely with the Accounting Department during the close process and will have some responsibilities to support the close process with data uploads/downloads and reports.
What qualifications do I need for this great opportunity?
- MINIMUM EDUCATION: BA/BS in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- PREFERRED EDUCATION: MBA in Finance, Accounting or related business field.
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Experience should include 5 years, preferably in a manufacturing environment with international operations and an emphasis on budgeting, financial analysis, data analysis, reporting and process improvements. Experience working with various data files and layouts and creating data extracts is a plus.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: CPA

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS:

What are your primary duties to be successful in this role?
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
- Coordination of the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plans and modeling tools
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- Financial reporting
- Implementing and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
- Supporting management team and departments with in-depth analysis of budget variances
- Routine communication with department heads relating to financial close, issues and deliverables
- Maintains systems and controls that support the integrity of all accounting processes, accounting data, and enhance department value by continually improving control processes
- Conforms with all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
- Work schedule determined by Month End and reporting requirements
- Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned
